White vinegar – It is considered the safest remedy you can use around your house. Mix it with water and spray it on the ant paths. Another very effective natural remedy to get rid of the ants in the house includes tea tree oil, cinnamon and pepper. You can also try the tartar cream and strong perfumes on the ants to see how effective they can be.
